Carroll University will achieve academic excellence through inclusive excellence. By altering structures that impact patterns, an inclusive and equitable environment in which diversity is celebrated will define our community. Further, we must recognize that learning does not begin and end within the walls of a classroom. We must build an ecosystem of support that adopts a wraparound approach to delivering an unparalleled university experience that promotes respect and is welcoming for our students, faculty and staff.

Carroll University Will:

1. Commit to a more diverse and inclusive community by:

Expanding pathways for access and success.
Creating a vibrant and engaged campus climate, culture and community.
Educating and developing all faculty and staff to lead change in an ever-evolving, complex world.

2. Commit to, and sustain, a culture of environmental accountability by:

Incorporating eco-friendly transportation programs.
Reducing waste and educating the Carroll community.
Establishing sustainable building and landscape practices for new and existing facilities and spaces.

3. Celebrate our Presbyterian heritage by:

Engaging more fully with our Presbyterian community.
Elevating focus on our Presbyterian values.
Ensuring our Presbyterian culture is physically present on campus.
Furthering interreligious awareness and engagement on and off campus.

4. Improve student support services by:

Expanding and aligning university offices and systems of student support.
Enhancing overall health and wellness services.

5. Enhance our current facilities and infrastructure to better serve the needs of campus by:

Upgrading technology within departments and across campus.
Renovating aging residence halls.
Ensuring Carroll student-athletes and coaches have the resources to be competitive.
